Spencer Williams is a founding principal of Madfarm LLC, bringing over a decade of transactional and operating experience to the firm. Supporting clients in sell-side and strategic advisory capacities, Spencer is known for his professionalism and hands-on-approach to each Client engagement. He pairs collegiality with a firm, straightforward, and data-driven approach to dealmaking, using these abilities to close transactions on behalf of his clients.

After earning his Juris Doctorate with a focus on business transactions, Spencer entered private legal practice in Denver, Colorado. Following three successful years in legal practice, he launched a consulting practice advising buyers and asset owners in Colorado’s complex water and natural resources markets. During this time, he also led the development and growth of database products used in underwriting numerous transactions in the industrial services sector across Texas and New Mexico. Spencer later managed and scaled a tech-enabled industrial logistics and supply chain business as a part of a larger venture backed start up. In late 2020, he returned to his transactional roots, founding Madfarm to exclusively serve lower middle market business owners in sell-side and strategic advisory engagements.

Spencer is married to Amy Williams, COO of a Denver-based small business holding company. They have four children and enjoy spending time outdoors as a family in the mountains, rivers, and high plains near their home.
